§ 10.19.020. Owner and driver of vehicle jointly liable.

A.

Whenever such driver is not the owner of such vehicle, object, or device, but is operating, driving, or moving the same with the express or implied permission of the owner, then the owner and driver shall be jointly and severally liable for any damage.

B.

The Public Works Director may, in his or her discretion, authorize an individual liable for damage pursuant to this Chapter to repair any damage caused to the same or better condition before the damage was caused or to any other legally mandated condition.
