§ 10.20.020. Penalty.

A.

Any person who knowingly or willfully misrepresents the size or weight of any load in obtaining a permit pursuant to this Chapter, does not follow the conditions of the permit, or operates any vehicle requiring a permit pursuant to this Chapter without a permit, is guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not to exceed five-hundred dollars ($500.00), six (6) months in jail, or both.

B.

Every permit issued pursuant to this Chapter shall be carried in the vehicle or combination of vehicles to which it refers and shall be open to inspection by law enforcement.
