§ 15.9.040. Pipes thawed with torch prohibited.

A.

It is unlawful to use any torch or other flame-producing device for the purpose of thawing out any pipe in or under any house, building, or structure in the incorporated City limits.

B.

A violation of this section is a misdemeanor punishable by a term not to exceed six (6) months in jail, a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00), or both.

C.

Costs incurred by City emergency personal responding to a violation of this section may be assessed as a lien on the subject property by Commission resolution.
