§ 17.56.4.010. Regulated flood hazard areas.

A.

Jurisdictional areas. The jurisdictional areas referenced herein as the regulated flood hazard area are:

1.

The 100-year floodplains illustrated and referenced in the Flood Insurance Study, Cascade County, Montana and Incorporated Areas, Number 300013V000A, effective date March 19, 2013, including City of Great Falls, Community Number 300010; or,

2.

The regulated flood hazard area as specifically described or illustrated in a specific study, including maps that have been delineated, designated and established by order of the DNRC or FEMA pursuant to MCA 76-5-201.

B.

Uses and requirements. Use allowances, design and construction requirements in these regulations vary by the specific areas identified as floodway and flood fringe.
