§ 8.49.010. Nuisance defined.

  • A.

    "Nuisance" means:

    1.

    Anything which is injurious to health, or is indecent or offensive to the senses;

    2.

    An obstruction to the free use of another's property, so as to interfere with the comfortable enjoyment of life or property of another including but not limited to;

    i.

    Placement and/or maintenance of any motor vehicle, motorcycle, trailer, camp trailer; or

    ii.

    Mobile home on any property in the City in violation of any OCCGF provision;

    3.

    Unsecured vacant structures or properties that may invite trespass or vandalism;

    4.

    Property in a condition that constitutes a hazard, or its appearance is a blight to the community; or

    5.

    Property, real or personal, that is maintained so as to obstruct the free passage or use, in the customary manner, of any navigable lake, or river, bay, stream, canal, or basin, or any public park, square, street, or highway.

    B.

    A declaration of Nuisance by the City Commission is made pursuant to Mont. Code Ann. § 7-5-4104, as may be amended, and its self-governmental powers under the Charter of the City of Great Falls.
